In running and in life flexibility is key. I have found consistent yoga to be a great addition to my running routine. I especially love being able to fit in a 50 minute power yoga class over lunch two days a week. I enjoy braking up my day and tend to come back to work refreshed, energized and just a little sweaty.  My lack of planning on yoga days sometimes means eating oatmeal for lunch but hey, that’s okay with me.

Being flexible and making it work might be the key to fitness. I like to run right after work even if it means changing in the office bathroom. I find if I go home first a run is the last thing on my mind, although sometimes I can be persuaded by the cute pup waiting patiently at home … those nights flexibility is the key to a happy, sleepy, probably snoring, puppy.
